The Campaign

The 'Rannoch for All' campaign was established to protect the area of Rannoch from a proposed exclusive private members club development which would permanently damage a scenic and environmentally sensitive site bounded by Loch Rannoch and the ancient Caledonian Black Wood.

The community have rallied against this development and we are already supported by several local organisations who object to the proposal: Rannoch and Tummel Community Council; Loch Rannoch Conservation Association; Rannoch Tourism; and the Dall Community Association, but there are many more.

See the News tab above for an update on the current position.

We have also received tremendous support from the community, tourist and time-share owners, regular visitors and holiday makers, and a range of bodies representing environmental and conservation interests and other supporters with over a thousand objections by planning deadline November 2009, underlining the depth of feeling on this issue. We want your support to oppose this development and are seeking offers of interest in its many forms – time, money, advice and personal involvement in the campaign.

The campaign is currently being co-ordinated through the Dall Community Association but is representing a much wider constituency. See Contact Us to offer your support.
